Ms. Brautigam holds an MBA in Taxation and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.  She is a member of the California Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, and is a past president of the Sacramento Estate Planning Council. She is also past president of the California CPA Education Foundation and is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Sacramento Foundation. She was President of the 450 member Rotary Club of Sacramento in 2009-2010. She also holds the designation of Personal Financial Specialist (accredited by the American Institute of CPAs) and has her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.

Beverly has taught in the Masters of Taxation Program at Golden Gate University and teaches many continuing education courses for the California CPA Society, including ones she co-authored, Tax Aspects of Marital Dissolutions,  Advanced Tax Problems of Marital Dissolutions and Tax Consequences of Divorce.  She was honored by the California CPA Education Foundation with the 1999 award for Outstanding Course Materials and by the Education Division of the California Society of CPAs with the 1987 award for Instructor Excellence.  She has also authored Tax Consequences of Marriage, Separation and Divorce, an AICPA self-study course, and Marital Dissolutions in California found in Prentice-Hall's loose-leaf service, Divorce Taxation.

Beverly Brautigam is a Court-appointed Expert, a Court-appointed Special Master, and a Qualified Expert in several northern California Counties.
